From 2013-2018, I was an intern at the Education Channel of Sarasota. While interning, I created original scripts relating to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) topics and then I performed them in front of the camera. This segment that I hosted is called She Blinded Me With Science, and the episodes are aired on the Education Channel's YouTube channel as well as broadcasted onto Comcast's cable channel 20.
I gained professional skills involving all stages of Television Production, including script-writing, revisions, camera operating, performing, and editing. |

I am currently the Editor for a Narrative/Experimental Horror film called The Songs of Lazarus. I have taken upon all responsibilities of an Assistant Editor, Main Editor, Color-Grader, and Sound Designer.
I am using my academic knowledge to edit this film professionally, using proxies and following an organizational workflow. I will be color-grading and adding special effects in March. With this project I am further developing my skills with Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere, and After Effects. This film will be completed by April 2021, but the video to the left is the first Assembly Cut. |

Sleepless Nights (2020) is a short film shot on a Super 8 camera. This was fully created and edited by myself.
I was thrilled to learn how to use the Super 8 camera, and I loved the shots that I was able to capture. The beach is one of (if not my favorite) place to be. So it was a no-brainer to shoot there. I used my academic knowledge with shooting on film stock and my editing skills to piece together this experimental short film. |

Throughout my senior year of high school, a group of close friends and I made a 20 minute coming-of-age short film surrounding themes of loss and acceptance.
I am grateful to have been a co-director of this film as well as being a part of the group of scriptwriters. I also helped in post-production with the editing process. This film was shown at the International Baccalaureate Film Festival in Sarasota, Florida. |

For the Spring 2019 Apartment Guide Scholarship, applicants were supposed to submit an essay about the topic "What home means to you". A small group of finalists were selected, who then needed to create a video that accompanied and complemented the essay.
I was chosen as one of two winners of the $2,500 Scholarship. For the video itself, I was the main actress, director, script-writer, and editor. One of my close friends was amazing enough to help with the camera operations. As a result of my win, I have been mentioned in a few publications as well as featured on the Apartment Guide website. |
